The Florida LEADS (Launch Engage Activate Departments and Systems for Zero Suicide) Project seeks to transform and improve suicide care practices, standards, and outcomes in service delivery systems throughout rural and urban counties in Northeast, Northwest, Central, and West Florida.

No Cost Trainings

The flagship product of the FL LEADS Project is the provision of complimentary and free suicide prevention and intervention trainings to community agencies, mental health professionals, system administrators, and the general public. Our trainings are designed to empower and equip professionals and community members with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively identify and offer support to individuals who may be suicidal.

The FL LEADS Project is a collaborative Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) grant between the University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida, Florida Behavioral Health Association, Statewide Office of Suicide Prevention, and various state and local partnerships.
